Callen agency hires Davy Force for breakneck speed ad production for their client Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer for their wild “In Home Advertising” campaign. The call was to bring their script to life using stock footage on a truncated schedule. Davy not only edited and created simple animations for the piece but did the voice over work as well. Both client and agency were excited by the wacky results. Davy shouts out to his old pal filmmaker/writer Eric Fensler for the awesome hook-up with this highly creative Austin, TX based agency.

Also 15 original spoof futuristic TV commercials conceived, written, directed and animated by Davy for Google/Stadia/Typhoon Games. Directed this Jihad Jerry music video along with Jerry Casale of DEVO, who appears as Jihad Jerry in the video. Did all the storyboard/animation/edit/composting/shooting/etc solo pandemic style at InfoChammel’s Hollywood studio/stage.
Legendary Hollywood, CA based animation studio TITMOUSE taps Davy Force to direct a short congratulatory promo for the 60th ANNECY Film Festival in Annecy, France. The promo needed to be constructed start to finish in 7 days and featured the VR assets of the studio and principal characters from the Second Life VR platform. Titmouse already had high quality digital 3D assets of its Hollywood Smash Party Campus along with many of the principal producers, directors and artists in avatar form. Davy’s job was to take the assets and perform multiple “shoots” in Second Life VR to construct a musical birthday edit along with combining phone video clips of the principals speaking and merging that back onto the avatars.
Sundance 2021 selected “Glitch In The Matrix” a feature film by Rodney Ascher to be a part of this year’s program. The film explores “simulation theory” and features over 4 minutes of original CGI character animation by director/animator Davy Force. A few images created by Davy were used to promote the film including the one above from the Sundance catalog.
